HISTORY

The Ship Inn is the longest standing public house in Musselburgh. We have traced the timeline and purchased the map which shows the Ship Inn named plot on the 1824 map of Musselburgh. The map is proudly on show hanging in the front Bar.

In 2019 we were very excited to find out we were to close temporarily for our huge refurbishment and even though we have had extensive changes we kept the frontage intact and we stand proudly on the coast road into Musselburgh as we have for over a century.
